This place deserves the excellent reviews it is getting. I have stayed here several times and would agree it is the best B+B I have ever stayed in. Lynn is a superb host. Clean. Excellent breakfast. Comfy beds. Book early and dont stay anywhere else in Lerwick. Beats any Lerwick Hotel hands down for service.

A fabulous B&B. The room was charming, spotless, spacious and everything you need are there. Cookies, shortbreads and teas were offered in the bedroom ... If you want a B&B which is ideally located, spotlessly clean with friendly knowledgable owners I cannot recommend you stay anywhere else but Jim and Annes. 10/10 for everything guys, loved the Breakfast. It was an absolute pleasure!!!

i spent a super week-end at the Fort Charlotte Guest House. I got a very friendly welcome, the room was spotless and nice and warm despite being a snowy week-end. I had one of the best fish suppers that I have ever had in Jim's chip shop across the road. breakfast was superb. The location is ideal. Highly recommended

I had a really great stay here in July 2011. The location was ideal, close to the centre of Lerwick, yet on a quiet back street. Jim and Lynn are very nice people, knowledgeable and eager to help. I travelled alone and really enjotyed my stay. Great breakfast. Highly recommended B & B.
