Booked a family room to stay 3 nights with wife and 2 year old son. Not too bad. Without going too much into detail, I would advice not to go for breakfast in house unless you have no alternative. Stayed at travelodge halifax while attending a wedding with two children so had booked a family room. First impressions were good, great location very friendly receptionist who immediately appologised for the view which since we were on fifth floor suprised me but on inspection she was right to appologise metal bars and a great up close view of a generator.... I stayed here for one night on a business trip, The hotel is cheap and cheerful, so you get what you pay for. The car park is a public car park so you have to pay for it from 9AM. Best move the car or pay at a pay station to avoid fines. It actually quite cheap to park there... More

stayed 9th feb 2013 would recommend staying here,10 minute walk to center,rooms clean and comfy,tv in,tea and coffee,and heating,very warm,to warm but can turn heating off,shower,will be staying again,cheaper than the premier inn,which is 5 mins away,

what a filthy dirty hovell.pay a bit extra and stay at the premier inn which will be opening soon. dirt and thick dust everywhere.you have been warned......the young lady on the main desk was very helpfull but her understanding of the english language was not the best,but she did her b est.
