My boyfriend and I came up to the highlands on a little tour of where he was born. We stayed here on a whim and I absolutely loved it. The owners where completely lovely people! The value for the price unbeatable. Our room was so nice and we had liked it so much we relaxed and had a romantic night... More

Stayed with a colleague as we were working in the area, and what a gem, warm friendly welcome, both rooms were excellent one with a King size bed and the mine with a Supper King size, both myself and my colleague commented on the excellent night’s sleep we had. My en-suite was a wet room with one of the best... More

Stayed for 3 nights. with my wife and young daughter in a family room - we were on the top floor -very quiet location - good sized room - smallish bathroom with shower and WC - the wash basin is in the room which for us was not the best - but all clean and tidy. Breakfasts were really nice... More

Four of us were traveling over the Christmas holidays and were delighted to find this boutique inn right in the heart of the Whisky Trail. Our charming host helped us with everything from restaurant recommendations (as his was closed in the winter) to selecting whiskies from his formidable collection (some 70+ of them) to helping us scrape snow and ice... We have stayed at a couple of different places in the town over the years but thought it was time we traded up from a B&B and were glad we had done. The hotel is on a quiet back road, with its own parking forecourt. We found our room a bit cramped but that's the size you get in a... More

Nice place, lovely and quiet yet close to the High Street. Big bedroom, but small bathroom meaning the washbasin had to be in the bedroom - not a big issue. Nice lounges, but a bit 'soulless', missing those subtle touches that make the difference. Lovely breakfast.

We stayed for two nights in room 1 at the front of the hotel and were pretty disappointed overall. Evening meals were not available despite the web site claiming otherwise; on speaking to the owners they have not had a chef for over 12 months and the conservatory restaurant (less for breakfast) closed when he left. The breakfast was passable... More

Very nice rooms and great food. Owners Andrew and Sheena do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Easy walking distance to the High Street. Good car parking. Rooms are clean and bright and breakfast is excellent. Someone put a criticism on Trip Advisor that they could not work out which tables were set for breakfast! Emm..the... More

We stayed at Ravenscourt House Hotel as part of the Speyside walk and I would strongly recommend this hotel. The owners were extremely polite and friendly and could not do anymore to help our stay to be more welcoming and enjoyable!

I have come to the conclusion that staying in large hotels, often in some anonymous add on wing, is an experience best avoided. Here you have a traditional small hotel, quiet, but still in a great location for the town, and a comfortable welcoming feeling. Ok perhaps a little updating and freshening required, particularly outside..... but it's the overall feel of... More
