Superb barn conversions offer a biju room stay full of life. A warm welcome from sharon through to a fantastic breakfast and choice (eggs benedict was mine). Clean and tidy throughout and very approachable staff created a memorable stay for all the right reasons.

Stayed here 28/29 April in Haytor apartment with my teenage Daughter and parents. Had a Wonderful relaxing time and the sun came out for us. Wonderful food, staff were attentive and welcoming. We shall come back again, probably with more family next time. Thankyou Nigel and the rest of your great team.

We stayed just one night but could have stayed longer. The staff are excellent making you feel very welcome. They exude friendliness. At first sight the hotel is unprepossessing but don't be fooled this is a really nice place to stay. The evening meal was also excellent and good value. For extra charge our dogs slept in our room. My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay at Sampsons Farm. We really liked the place, it had so much old quirky character. I don't suppose there are many places like this to stay. We stayed in room 11 which was on the small side, but had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The... More

Sampsons Farm is a quaint and delightful farmhouse B&B down a country lane and was much prettier than we expected and was full of character. We stayed on a KGB two night voucher. This is not your usual square box hotel. We drove into the yard of the 16th century farmhouse. Some of the out buildings have been converted into a artist's studio. There is plenty of car park space, and it's free. We were met by the proprietor, who was very friendly and efficient.... More

We stayed for 2 nights and first impressions were very good. It's a lovely farm house that has retained its character, staff were very welcoming and our room was a nice sized double in the farmhouse itself. The room was clean. We wanted to keep it that way and somewhere to keep muddy shoes would have been helpful, even a... More

We were thoroughly spoilt in our 2 day stay at Sampsons. Accommodation was excellent, very clean and well appointed. Breakfast provided more than we expected in quality and quantity. The evening meal was exceptional! The staff, including Nigel the owner, could not have been more friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful experience.
