The blurp on the table place mats in the bar advise that the Coach House was "once attended by William of Orange for one night." I can only assume that he was originally booked in for several nights but decided to bail out after one! Whilst Chudleigh is not blessed with top rate b&b accommodation, classing this as a 3-star... The Old Coaching House is without doubt the poorest hotel I have stayed in. Our party booked two rooms, both of which suffered from the same problems: a lack of heat and light.
