This is a great hotel, located within walking distance of Callander, a charming town. Based on other hotels in the town, it seems good value and good quality. Thus the 5 out of 5. The whole experience was delightful from greeting on arrival through an excellent dinner comfortable spacious room and cosy,interesting bar. I've just read a poor review and unless the place has changed remarkably since April 2012 I don't know what on earth they are talking about!
