This is everything you would want from a village pub when on holiday. Attentive, happy staff - check. Good selection of drinks - check. Good food - check. All the food is homemade, and well made at that. My wife and I went twice, once for the Sunday carvery and once of an evening. The carvery was one of the... More

My husband and I were on a day-trip around Cornwall and stopped a local to ask where to eat. They recommended this pub. I was trying to avoid yet more hum-drum pub food, but with this I was pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend it! More

Stayed in a cottage across from this pub/hotel. A group of us ate there I had sirloin steak n ale pie with stilton mash. I gotta say that it was absolutely superb meal so rich n tasty. Friendly staff nice location. Can't comment on the rooms obviously. If staying nearby just eat there its a gem and I eat out... More

I booked a night here so I could join family in nearby farm cottage complex. The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom had nice toiletries and everything worked fine. We had supper here that evening which was delicious, as was breakfast. Everyone was friendly and easy going so I decided to stay another night. What I really liked was... More

The Bullers Arms Hotel is the archetypal Village Inn and we dined there on several evenings during our recent stay in St.Gennys, south of Bude. The Bullers is a large white building in the center of the village and is very easy to find by visitors to the area. It has a good sized car park and a large garden... More

The room was lovely and a comfy bed. No fan in the bathroom, which wasn't a problem but could become one:(. Good English breakfast, breakfast service could be a littleslow and layed back but relaxing. Lovely location to walk from into Bude along canal. Found the bar expensive so had food and drink in Bude. The function room smelt airless... More

A lovely village location. Average quality rooms( we saw three rooms) with good fresh bedding and good tea/coffee/chocolate/biscuits tray. Electric kettle had to be put on floor to reach plug (dangerous). Very serious damp problem on 6-8ft of ceiling/wall (not healthy) Very dated carpeted bathroom with chipped bath, no air extraction, no hanging hooks and the toilet cistern was noisy.... More

We had a 1 night stay at the Bullers Arms to break up our long journey down to the end of Cornwall. It was booked the evening before on lastminute.com, however Im so pleased we did! Bullers Arms is set in a small village, about 5mins drive from Bude - lovely setting. Room was fantastic - much larger than expected... More
