For the price they are charging for a pitch (Tent) you can go to Haven at Weymouth and have a nice bar swimming pool and a beach , they have hiked the prices up 50% over the years. What recession lets milk the public dry.

Just stayed here over the may bank holiday weekend and had a blast. Beautiful weather and scenery. Staff more than accommodating and most of all our friend Kev the site manager. Our first trip in our new camper van.. I chose this site as I wanted somewhere in the New Forest that had toilet/ shower blocks and allowed dogs. A group of us stayed over the weekend, and were overall very impressed with the site. It's quite large and although pitches are close together, we never felt on top of anyone. We stayed for one night in a tent in April. It was freezing cold but that's nothing to do with the site. It's a 10 minute walk from brockenhurst pubs etc. toilets and facilities were well maintained and staff were regularly going around the site. However £26.50 to camp for one night is a bit on the expensive side!

Four of us stayed at Hollands Wood over the easter weekend, we stayed in a camper van as the weather was so cold, we arrived at about 5pm on the friday afternoon and were seen by reception, they were helpful and friendly advising us of do's and dont's on the campsite.
