We recently stayed here for 4 nights. It is an interesting old victorian house that is comfortable, mostly clean but a bit dusty here and there. It has a very good breakfast and dinner. Normally we wouldn't eat at the same place for 4 nights but the choice and quality was good enough. Portion sizes could be smaller and then...

We had a 3 day break during the week and found the hotel, staff and food all to a very good standard. We were a little apprehensive after reading some adverse comments in other reviews but now cannot understand why they were posted when they were clearly wrong! From the helpfull staff, lovely and varied food to the quality bed...

The problem is with some of the staffs. They are non welcoming and defensive against requests. I seriously considered forfeiting my deposit and moving out on the first day. The bedrooms are appalling; the blankets were stained, there are...

SECRET GARDEN CAFE-
We have enjoyed many cups of tea and delicious cakes & scones in this charming little oasis in the heart of Brockenhurst. A great idea, locals and visitors love it.

The hotel is on a very quiet side road, but the garden is also accessible from the village high street. So cyclists and families pop into the garden without disturbing the...

This place is dirty and dated. I reckon the last time the interior saw a lick of paint was about 30 years ago. Really, an embarrassment of a place. And will leave you feeling cheated out of your hard earned cash. I would have felt ripped off even if charged half of what we actually were.
