Trouble finding fault............From the lovely bedroom tastefully furnished and very comfortable to the superb breakfasts... to the views over the promenade and sea sitting on the window seat and then watching the bustling harbour from the Terrace.....how perfectly placed. David and Lyn the owners make you very welcome and we would certainly recommend The Chatsworth to anyone.

Such a beautiful building, which has been sympathetically restored! We had a lovely room (1) overlooking the harbour. The room was extremely comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. Plenty of storage and nice bathroom. We were warmly welcomed by David who looked after us during our stay. Breakfast was just right with lots of variety. We loved... More

Having read the earlier reviews I am pleased to say that the hotel has had a complete revamp. Rooms tasteful and clean. Great views. Beds comfortable and breakfast varied and perfectly cooked. Recommend this to anyone.

My mum & I stayed this weekend for 2 nights. I reserved a room via email and although room 4 was already taken we did get a choice if two, and opted for room 5. A twin with nice big bay window overlooking the beach, sea & fair. The window seat was a bonus. Dave the owner is a lovely... More

Stayed 2 nights and nothing dreadful, decent enough but 5 star ratings a little over the top. We had the triple room 8 and therefore paid a little more (our choice so no complaints there). We have certainly stayed in far worse but have also had better for less. I am sure the rooms overlooking the harbour have great views... More

We stayed for a one night stay and booked at short notice on a Friday in January. We checked in later than we had at first anticipated, and were welcomed with the warm and friendly proprietor, Dave. We decided to have a quick drink in the beautifully decorated bar, complete with a stylised wooden compass inlaid in the floor. Happily,... More

Nice room to the rear overlooking the harbour. Room a little small and so was the en-suite. I was a pity that there was no way to leave the balcony door open securely as the room was a little stuffy. Breakfast was good. Probably would not stay again but a very central location.

We had a room overlooking the harbor with a little balcony, it was absolutely delightful. Dave the host was very kind and even provided us with free parking passes, and it is not easy to find parking in Weymouth. The breakfast times were very flexible and the breakfast itself was very good, especially the fish choice. There was also quite... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room (at the top of the house). It had a new bathroom which although small was very agreeable. Dave, the owner was very helpful and served an excellent breakfast. Easy to park outside and we were lent a parking permit.
