Comfortable, clean room. A quiet hotel set a short 5-minute walk from the beach. Also close to The Swannery. Proprietors very helpful especially when I needed a Chiropractor the day I was leaving. Good information on walks. More

We took our elderly parents 80 and 82 who though not disabled really find it hard to walk very far without the aid of a wheeler or stick. Welcomed by Jenni, we found her lovely, we were offered a pot of tea, just what was needed after a 6hr journey. I explained that Mum had a contracted a water infection... More

We stayed hear for one night prior to crossing on the ferry to Jersey and a second night when we returned. We were made very welcome and our rooms were clean and tidy with all the usual facilities. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and the homemade marmalade was very tasty. It is situated in a quiet area... More

Great place and really nice people. The B&B is just as described, its a lovely building and the rooms are very spacious. Mom had the wheelchair access room and loved it. The beds are really comfotable and the owners very accomodationg. Generous breakfasts, cooked to your liking, we couldn't have found a better place. More

We were walking the Coastal Path, and arrived here to be greeted with a friendly welcome, a nice brew, and some intelligent conversation. Our host recommended viewing a DVD on the Jurassic Coast for the next section, and it magically appeared in our room for us to look at the next day. It wasn't just the walkers who were getting... Having been let down by a nearby B&B (The Pebbles) double booking we were offered two nights here at VERY short notice. The room was excellent and th breakfasts to die for. Mike & Jenny were very accomodating (and their green credentials are admirable too) and we shall have no hesitation in booking here if we revisit Weymouth. More

Very surprized that this is not among the top 10! Was here last summer. Very nice couple run it. Breakfasts were excellent. Rooms were very comfortable. I definitely recommend it! Wish I was there now! More

This is my first review but I feel compelled to write it as I have had such a lovely time. I recently went on a trip to Dorset with my girlfriend to look at the coastal sights and have a bit of a break away from the city. I came across this hotel in the Dorset holiday brochure and it... More

Stayed at Oaklands for 1 night this weekend. Stayed there previously when under previous ownership. We were greeted by the owners on arrival- and shown to our room. The room we had (9) was lovely with good facilities and a plentiful hospitality tray. Breakfast was excellent and varied with plenty of choice. The guesthouse is in an ideal location- 10-15... More
