We spent ages looking around for a place to stay for the bank holiday weekend and finally settled on Number 80 after reading the reviews. We spent 3 nights at Number 80, they welcomed us to suit our travel plans, gave us a lovely room which was clean and warm. This is a fab B&B, immaculately clean, very comfortable with a great breakfast. Owners are very welcoming and also provide a personal touch. Rooms have DVD players with a great selection of movies to borrow which we enjoyed. Great little B&B only a 5-10mins walk from Bowness Bay. Was in room 3, which was very clean & comfortable. Lots of choice at breakfast (cereals, fruit, full english, vegetarian). Colin was also very helpful (although we checked out in the morning our train wasn't until tea-time let us leave our luggage during the day until we left). More

An excellent stay once again. Stayed in many more expensive places over the years but no 80 has it all at an excellent price. If you are looking for a short break in the Lakes I am not sure why you would need to look anywhere else. More
