Hazelbrae is a superb Victorian B&B which the owner, Deb, makes you feel at home. The decor and all the furniture etc are in keeping with the style of the property, with stunning views afforded from the double bedroom and the sitting/dining room. Breakfast is magnificent, and nothing is too much trouble or too much to ask for. We had... More

We had an excellent 3 night stay at Hazelbrae and the owners couldn't have been more helpful both before and during our stay. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast lived up to the comments from previous reviewers. The beds were really comfortable and well appointed. Our whole party agrees that this made a memorable wedding weekend even more memorable. More

Deb provides an exceptionally high standard at her B & B. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts offer a wide choice - full English, kippers, smoked salmon, smoked haddock, scrambled eggs on muffins etc or a Continental and that's after the fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts. Splendid! More

I have to start at the breakfast with this Bed and Breakfast - as it really is a standout memory of our stay (judging by the comments in the guestbook, this sentiment will be many echoed). You will be presented, daily, with a selection of choices, superior to that on offer at most hotels, with options to suit any mood... More

We had a perfect few days at Ventnor and the Hazelbrae. Deb & Jerry were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was large with sea views and we couldn't fault it.Breakfast was delicious too. Thanks Brian & Bernadette More

we stayed for 2 nights here in the double room. Deb was very attentive and very helpful about things to do on the Island. The room was very nicely done in a Victorian style. The bedroom chairs were also in keeping (albeit a bit firm) and the bed soft. Breakfasts were excellent. It was a very pleasant stay. More

We stayed 2 nights at Hazelbrae a couple of weeks ago. It has been our best B&B discovery this year (and we have stayed at quite a few!). Jerry and Deborah are extremely welcoming, hospitable and nice people. The B&B iis about 10 min walk to the seaside/town, and within easy walking distance to the Botanic Garden. It is nicely... More
