A comfortable and well appointed place for sight seeing - close to the electric train for Laxey wheel and Ramsey. The Station pub near the electric train/tram sells local beer and the staff are friendly. The Acacia boutique was not what I was expecting from the description. It was very clean and comfortable and I had a lovely sea view... More

Stayed for St. Valentine's night and it turned out SO DISAPPOINTING compared to the photos and initial impression! The room looked very nice but the look was as much as could be relied upon. The seating area of the bedroom had mould on the walls. This wasn't a small patch around a corner of a window: This was about 10"... More

I travel all over for my job and have been visiting the Isle of Man for 18 months. Stopping in the Palace (tired buidling, rooms and staff) and the Regency (trying to be upmarket when it clearly isn't) I found this little gem. Okay so there isn't a lift and this should be borne in mind but there are only... More

We stayed two nights here December 2012. Owners were very nice. Ran out of hot water but they fixed the problem. A bit noisy from the road outside. The room was clean and the bathroom adequate. Shower/tub combo.

We booked this hotel for a one night stay and got more or less what we expected for the price (£65 B&B). The room was very clean but small and overlooking a back yard, fire escapes etc. However, it was well equipped and warm. Breakfast was excellent in the very nicely designed and presented Thai restaurant that seems to be... More

We travelled to the island for a 4 night break travelling iver on the ferry. Travelling down the prom You could easily miss the entrance which is squeezed in between a small arcade of shops and Thai restaurant.. Which also forms part of the hotel, the reception is part if the restaurant.. Not ideal. If you don't like stairs, don't... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my partner and her parents and my dog and we were all very pleased with our stay. I had read the negative reviews just days before we were due to go, and I was disappointed to hear that it was so negatively reviewed. My experience (and that of my family) was... More

It was a blustery stormy night in August! No better a place to come to we felt. There was free parking on the sea-front, we were inexplicably upgraded on arrival by a lady who knew our names without looking in a book. Room service from the Thai restaurant downstairs was with us in 15mins whilst we relaxed with a DVD.... More
