We tumbled onto this place, and what a find. Warm, friendly, authentic and unpretentious in hospitality, service and food. A really nice place to stay. The bar is cosy, with real ales, real locals and their dogs, it is everything that a British pub is supposed to be. En suite rooms were comfortable and warm.

Car park is across the road, not really a problem as the road is not particularly busy. check in was prompt, friendly & included a small tour of the hotel. Staff are excellent.
