The food was ok, the entertainment not too bad but the hotel could definitely do with a deep clean. The chambermaids do the best that they can but the carpets need vaxing, the windows and frames need cleaning properly and repainting and practically everywhere seems to need minor repairs or a coat of paint

We stayed at this hotel for a short 4 day break on the 16th March this year, our room was quite small and tired the windows needed cleaning badly but the rest of the room was clean. There was only one lift which carried 4 people and at times we had to wait a while to get down for meals.... More

Having just returned from the Dilkhusa i wish to commend the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one . I think some of the reviews are a little harsh, for the money paid its excellent value. Stayed at this hotel week commencing February 2012 on coach holiday. Had a very enjoyable time. Staff very good, room and food fine. Good entertainment. Liked Ilfracombe so much I want to retun soon.
