We spent two nights at this hotel. Have stayed there several times before and knew it to be very good, so took some friends with us this time. Vicky and Roy very good hosts, food excellent, rooms very clean and Laylah, our dog, enjoyed it too. Will be back again (and again)! Chris & Neil

We have just returned after spending 2 nights at this delightful hotel. Vicky & Roy are perfect hosts. There is nothing we could fault about our stay. Food was excellent. Our room was more than adequate with all the trimmings you expect from a well run establishment. We didn't bother venturing out once we had returned from a busy day.... More

Very warm welcome for children and dogs! Amazing location in the woods on a beautiful beach ! Easy walk to saundersfoot (10 mins ) along the beach, 5 mins drive to Tenby. Good choice of cooked breakfasts and continental, we all loved the quality! Will return again and again, proper hidden gem...

Stayed here for three nights. The rooms are good in size and clean. What i liked the most is how cosy and welcoming this hotel is.The hosts Vicki and Roy and probably the nicest people you are likely to meet and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is very good with plenty to eat.Amanda is great and a credit to... More

We decided to spend a weekend away in Saundersfoot at the last minute and wanted to take our dog with us. Having searched we were able to book at Cwmwennol Country House. They also said that providing veggie breakfasts would be no problem. Having read some of the reports on this site I was aprehensive but there was no reason... More

We've been here several times as we like walking the coast path. It's a shame that some people have written such negative reports of this place as our rooms have always been clean and tidy. The breakfasts are first class and I defy anyone to get a better one in the area. The quality of the evening meals is also... More

We have been coming here for over fifteen years and always enjoy our stay. The setting is amazing - surounded by woodland where a short walk takes you to the quiet side of Saundersfoot Bay beach. You can also walk the nearby coastal path with its amazing cliff views to Saundersfoot and Tenby. The hotel has a wonderful warm, welcoming... More

We stayed at this hotel due to business in Pembrokeshire. We had stayed in the mid nineties when there was different owners and wanted to see if it had improved or changed. The hotel is very dog friendly (we had our dog with us), so much that it was a bit over powering in the bar with all the dogs... More
