Arrived at lodge no 3 about 6.30pm to find key in door as arranged, heating and table lamp on giving us a warm and inviting welcome. lovely place only 2 faults bed is rock solid 2nd fault eats electric cleaness was average hot tub good every thing in kitchen was ok could do with a bigger sighn on entrance because almost drove past washer dryer in lodge taken almost 2 hrs to do 1 wash

ok...the good points... Wonderful location. Brilliant Hot tub/jacuzzi. Excellent size for family of two adults and two teenage kids (although the kids shared one room). Warm without too much expense on heating. Basic microwave, fridge, oven and washer/dryer all in lodge. Hairdryer in bedroom. TV in lounge but no DVD. I would happily travel and stay here again. We learnt on the afternoon of departure that we had been moved from Tarragon Cottage to a lodge (much inferior spec). Reason given was a maintenance issue - burst pipe and wet carpet. However, I had spoken to owners the day before to insist the hot tub was warm for our arrival (and it was) and no mention was made... More

having read the reviews we made sure we took £1 coins, towels and toilet rolls so were prepared. We should also have taken a dish cloth and a torch. The torch is needed to load the meter if the electric goes at night or you return at 2.30am in the morning to find no electric! The good points about these... More

We stayed in lodge number 6 for the Christmas week. The lodge was clean, modern and warm, the hot tub was amazing and the highlight of our son's week, as was the farm's dog, Gyp!
