Perfect getaway. Accommodation spotless, wonderful welcome with homemade scones and jam. 5min drive from supermarket, 1hour from Liverpool and yet in the wonderful area of the Peak District with plenty of walks . Will definitely return

Always a warm welcome at Kerridge End and this return visit to "The Stables" was no exception. Ivor and Lynne have very high standards as far as cleanliness and comfort are concerned and the property was in mint condition as always. An excellent base for visiting nearby attractions such as Jodrell Bank which was a good day out - the... More

Another great stay,we have now stayed in all three of the cottages and have found the standards in all of them consistently good, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with every need catered for an ideal place for meeting up with family,it is in a lovely location quiet but only a short journey to local ammenities,

Wonderful stay - the accommodation was first class and the welcome pack of scones, home-made jam and a goody box was especially appreciated. A lovely relaxing holiday which the weather didn't spoil (despite a pretty good try!!). Will certainly return with my 5 chums at some time in the future.

I pretty much used up all my superlatives in the review of the Hayloft following my last stay in April 2011, so it is a pleasure to report that standards have been maintained - always a concern when returning to somewhere that impressed so much. This time, the weather was very poor so we have experienced both extremes and Kerridge... More

We stayed in the Stables for a week. We wanted a quiet place to relax, and the cottage was just perfect -everything we would have wanted, plus a few surprises! Everything seems to have been thought of, and then provided to a high standard. Absolutely excellent!!

I grew up in the area surrounding these cottages and came back to visit family and to introduce my brother and sister in law to the beautiful countryside surrounding these excellent properties. The booking process was simple and straightforward using the on line site. On arrival we were warmly greeted and settled in to the Coach House by Ivor and... More

We stayed at the Hayloft for a short family break. The cottage itself was beautifully arranged and equipped, with attention to detail obvious throughout - from the beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms, with excellent en-suites, to the thoughtful welcome pack of scones and essentials, and great supply of toys and games for the children. The setting was lovely, and the... More

We stayed at the Hayloft with our son, daughter in law and grandchildren. We were very impressed. Nothing had been forgotten. The welcome basket with all essentials plus some Thornton's chocs for the adults and kinder eggs for the children. The homemade scones were fantastic. Thank you. We had a warm welcome and Ivor explained everything to us and checked... More

As a group, once eight and sadly now six, three couples, we have taken over 30 holidays of this kind. in the UK. The Hayloft is one of the best properties we have stayed in. Spacious, exceptionally well equipped and furnished, super showers, everything was just right. It's the attention to detail that caught one's attention.
