If you can cope with being an onlooker at the conveyor belt of weddings and don't plan to eat here (the food was awful) you should have a good time. The Reception staff were unable to help us with the most basic of questions e.g. have you got details of walks around the grounds etc.

I stayed here on a business conference and found it to be an excellent venue. The location is superb, the leisure facilities are excellent and the hotel staff/management were very accommodating. Overall we all found it to be a superb conference venue.

Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Hotel had acres of character, room was spotless and leisure facilities (pool, sauna etc) were excellent and easy to use. Breakfast offered a great choice and hotel generally had a lovely busy but not overcrowded vibe to it. Lovely walking in the area.

The hotel is very nice, but there are a few issues which could easily turn this supposed 4 star hotel into a real class act.
