If you want a friendly welcome this is the place for you! Nothing seems to be too much trouble for Mary, the owner. We only stayed one night but wish it could have been more! Room not en suite, but facilities more then adequate. Ann and John Hodgkin

We stayed here for the night as our friends were getting married nearby and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Mary was very friendly and an extremely good host. She went out of her way to make sure we had a nice time, which we certainly did. From the lovely cups of coffee, awesome breakfast selection, comfy... More

Great weekend at the Firs. Mary was very welcoming and provided plenty of cups of tea, plus the cooked breakfasts were great, with homemade bread, jams and marmalades. The room was good witha comfy bed and the shared facilites were fine. Overall a very pleasant stay in a lovely location, every possibility we will be back again !

We stayed with our young son and my parents for one night. Mary was extremely welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. She also found videos and games for my son to play. Lovley stay!

Arrived to be met by a very warm and friendly host who made me tea - very welcome after a long drive. The room was fine - comfortable and peaceful, waking up to birdsong. Breakfast was home cooked and a real treat plus I bought some of Mary's fabulous home made marmalade to bring home with me. All in all... More
