I am currently sat in this fine establishment. I am slightly drunk and I have this to report: - Bed: 10/10. Super springy. The texture of a fine toffee sponge. - Food: 10/10. Moist tasty and like sponge. Super absorbent yet tasty when required. - Host: 10/10. Herculean efforts from Front of House Nelson. A local celeb. No sign of... More

We are very grateful for each of our reviews, but I have to say this is the first one that made me laugh out loud. Thanks for putting a chuckle in my morning. More

Stayed at the hotel from the 30th Dec 2011 to 2nd Jan 2012 with my wife and 18mth old baby daughter. Nelson and Mary, and their staff were very helpful. We had a great room, with a lovely view of the field and hills behind. The food was excellent, and both of us are foodies... Have a drink at the... More

Stayed here for 3 nights just after Christmas. Service both during the booking process and throughout the stay was excellent - very accommodating friendly staff will see to your every need. The hotel is a beautiful building in a lovely location made even more special for my 10 year old daughter by the beautiful xmas decorations that gave the whole... More

A lovely hotel with beautiful views out over the Welsh country side. It has a good location just on the edge of the small town of Llanrwst. We had a beautiful room that was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was as expected (standard hotel breakfast). The staff team were friendly and welcoming. We didn't try out the restaurant in the hotel,... More

We returned here from visiting 3 years ago following a lovely stay last time.Mary and Nelson were still offering an excellent welcome and stay.We were remembered by Mary which was a real feeling of being valued and Nelson managed to book us into a fully booked resturant following our day climbing Snowden which again was that little extra that made... I turned up at this hotel during a cold spell to find a cosy welcoming hotel. The staff were great and very helpful. The room was lovely and warm. The evening meal was excellent and breakfast was not far behind. In some places as a woman travelling alone you can still feel uncomfortable but this was certainly not the case... More

We arrived expecting this hotel to be in the middle of the country, judging by the picture, and at first were a bit dissapointed as it is in the middle of the village, on a busy road. However, once inside we soon changed our minds. A beautifull hotel, fabulous rooms to die for, and the most helpfull and friendly hosts.Breakfast... More
