Stayed here 18th Feb for 1 night. We were pleasantly surprised, our room was large, bed nicely made up with white cotton sheets and very comfortable. Meeting my sister for a birthday celebration and get together. The Shandon was just what we needed for convenience and price. It is not luxurious, but adequate and good value for money. It wasn't immaculate, but acceptable, and if it had been brought up to a higher standard, we would have had to pay more. would stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful ... excellent in fact. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean, well aired, and the beds were absolutely fine. The bathroom was also great although the screen for the overhead shower wasn't 100% effective ... no real problem however. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.
