“Sadly disappointed...look in Smithers, BC”

I am not sure where the previous reviewers had stayed before, to rate this hotel so highly. We were traveling west from Prince George, BC. The previous hotel recommended we stay at Smithers rather than New Hazelton. We decided to try this one anyway, since it was an hour further down the road and the reviews here were pretty good.... The room wasn`t as clean as it should have been when we first arrived so unfortunately I spent the first hour cleaning. After that it was kept cleaner when one particular house keeper was working. Excellent room for the price you pay. It only costs $65 a night plus $10 if you want a kitchen. This has been the best valued motel I've stayed in for my entire trip to Alaska.
