We arrived here after a disappointment at a nearby establishment. Our appetites had taken a battering but everything was soon forgotten after a warm welcome and a review of the extensive menu. The food was excellent and the waitress very attentive and friendly.

Visited Bellingham for first time in March. The Cheviot was the first place we tried and we couldn't have been happier. Excellent food and good value - recommend the Sunday lunch. Very friendly and marvellous owners and staff. Can't wait to return :)

Booked yesterday for a meal with friends. Staff we friendly and dinning area was spacious and clean. Lovely choice on menu. Most of the party had steak, no complaints from anyone only silence due to beautiful and simple presentation and the portions! We didn't stay at The Cheviot, but have eaten there several times now. It is hard not to go back! We have been self catering, but enjoy eating at The Cheviot because the quality of the food is simply EXCELLENT! The Cheviot has a lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff, very good food both for dinner and breakfast and a very comfortable room for the night. Would definitely stay again. My company use it on a regular basis throughout winter.

Nice big room, lovely bed for a good nights sleep, large T.V. great breakfast and really friendly staff. Most facilities in room are modern however some parts of hotel are a little dated. But overall would definitely would stay again.
