The East Coast is crowded by tourists, but if you like it more quiet...we absolutely recommend Am Samui Resort. If you can affort it, it is best to rent a car, because it is secluded...but you will find the beach all for yourself. Great place to stay for a relaxing break. Beautiful scenery and setting. The staff were all friendly and went out of there way to assist with anything we asked.
