The B & B is absolutely beautiful. The views from our loft are amazing. Mrs. Slayton is the most gracious hostess ever and the breakfasts she prepared for us were out of this world. She made our stay very memorable.

Our stay at Bridgewater Mountain B&B was a great treat. The rooms, food, scenery and our house guest where wonderful. I would defiantly recommend you to check this place out. Next time I make it up to NH I will stay here several nights. Thanks Virgina for a pleasant stay.

We checked in but did not stay the night. It was obvious the sheets had not been changed since at least before the previous guests. Pet and human hairs all over the sheets. The bathroom and bathroom floor was disgusting (imagine the worst). Since it was peak season we ended up driving two hours South to Manchester to find a... More

I often feel like a stranger at a B&B in someone's home. Not so at the Bridgewater. Virgina made us feel at home. We had a great room with a very beautiful view, something you don't see in the flat lands, pleasant other guests, Bella, the friendly dog, and awesome food. Thank you Virgina for opening up your home. Our... More

What an incredible host and what a breathtaking scenery. Everything is just the way it should be-and the words that can describe the breakfast have to be invented yet. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax or a base for hikes in the white mountains: Virginia should be the one to host you. Mani and Mirjam (Germany)

We stayed for a second time at this wonderful B and B up a windy mountain road between Plymouth and Ashland, NH. The hostess, Virginia, is gracious, the rooms are super comfortable, and the homemade breakfasts are to die for!!!!! We stayed in the Mountain Loft Room and had a full kitchen, huge living area, large bath with lots of... More

Inn keeper was most welcoming and served mouthwatering afternoon cookies and morning cinnamon buns to "die for"! Bella the resident dog is super well behaved and does not stray into guest room areas. Good directions were provided and even though the last bit is on dirt road and a bit of a climb, the view is worth it. Very rural... More

Virginia was a gracious hostess and a great cook! The bed was very comfortable, the bedroom and bath were clean, and all the necessary amenities were available. While this B&B is about 2 miles down a dirt road, the road is well taken care of May to November and it is only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Plymouth.... More

So glad we found this wonderful B&B about a 2 hour drive from Boston. It is somewhat secluded several miles from the main road but with wonderful views across to the White Mountain National Park and the Notch. Virginia is a wonderful baker and the breakfast is one of the best and prepared to a high standard. Her scones and... More
