We loved everything about Lana Villa. Our room was incredible, beautiful fixtures and a view that brought joy every time you looked. We arrived so early off our flight and you could not have been kinder to us, this continued throughout our stay. We absolutely loved breakfast as we are travelling to many countries and to have something wholesome and delicious was such a bonus. We also got many tips off fellow travellers as you have created a kind and helpful atmosphere. Thank you We did a fabulous hike behind the Mutra fort. We loved the restaurant Ocean the vegetarian curries were exquisite.

We had an amazing stay at Lana Villa. Ms. Rona was welcoming and professional, and the room was pristine with sea view. Breakfast is decent. The customer service was outstanding, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend Lana Villa for a relaxing experience.

Relaxed, friendly home from home. This is a great place to start and finish a tour of Oman. Away from down town hurly burly, situated on a quiet coastal road, it’s easy to relax in the large communal areas on the ground floor and rooftop. The resident staff, Lana and Rona provide a simple breakfast and keep the drinks of water, tea and coffee flowing throughout the day. Oliver the manager is around most mornings and has extensive knowledge of Oman for those still planning their tour. Mr Ali the owner pops in and chats happily. Other residents, mostly European, make good company and share useful tips. Delightfully informal and flexible about length of stay and which room when not busy, especially helpful on check out day if you have a late in the evening flight. Downsides. You need a car or be willing to use taxis (Otaxi app. best value). There is not much within easy walking distance. The coast opposite although technically a beach is for local fishermen and is not pleasant for sitting on or swimming. Quite loud call to prayer from Mosque nearby. Perhaps the best rooms are those with a sea view and private balcony (only 2 available). We stayed in room 9 for 4 days at either end of our Oman holiday. It has the advantage of being priced as a standard room but access to the top floor large open area, so sea view and balcony but cheaper! Great value for money. We look forward to returning in the future.…

This is a very quiet and private place to stay, by the sea. This does not mean that the beach is accessible, it's just the view from the common balcony. The staff was very helpful and Oliver (I guess is the owner) was very responsive. Breakfast was basic, but was sufficient for a light eater. There are few things that the management could improve upon: 1. Provide basic toileteries such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. 2. Assure wi-fi access on 3rd floor. We could not connect at all from the room and had to go to the lobby downstairs to get connected, which was very inconvenient. 3. Provide accessible power points inside the room. I had to leave my phone outside in the common area to charge and I was not comfortable. 4. There is no secure parking, it's by the street, but we didn't face any issues parking by the street.…

I was there just last week, I had an amazing time. I was given a great view with fantastic sea view. Just next to the sea and it was great to be able to start the day with walking on the beach and enjoy the peace and quietness. Very helpful staff.

If you are looking for a quite, welcoming boutique type accommodation, look no further. I felt like I was visiting a friends home. My flight arrived early morning but all was taken care of and I had access to my room as soon as I arrived. The location is across from the beach with easy access for pick up for sightseeing. Its a 5 minute taxi to a wonderful beach where the locals congregate to watch sunset and play on the water. You can sit in Fanajeen café and people watch. The breakfast offered as little or as much as you want with tea and coffee available throughout the day Mr Ali and Flora were exceptional hosts and nothing was a problem. They also organize sightseeing trips throughout Oman with lifetime tours. I had a fantastic trip to the mountains with Mohammed, felt like a VIP. I hope to visit again when the weather is a bit cooler…

We enjoyed our stay at Lana villa for 2 nights very much. We had the best checkin experience ever. Two very friendly ladies welcomed us at approx. 23:00 and just let us chose a room. No passport, no credit card, no paper work. In clients we trust philosophy: Did you already pay? Yes! OK! Loved it. Rooms were clean and OK. Breakfast cozy with other people on a long wooden table Can absolutely recommend this place with the two nice ladies!
