nice big room with terras. Villa is near the center of Agritento (walk distance is 10 minutes). Parking space is available. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. Miguel has also tourist information available. Agrigento is a bigger city, so realise that: the traffic may be hectic and sometimes it is hard to find your way. So bring your GPS.... More

The soon to be renamed Villa Pirandello was an ideal choice as a base from which to explore Sicily's southern coast (and more, had we had the time). The warm welcome, the lovely refurbished room opening onto the sunny terrace, breakfast in the delightful garden pavilion (transformed into the Locanda di Terra slow food restaurant in the evening - also... This B&B is in central location and has historical value, but it is hard to find even with GPS because it is below the street level. It is surrounded by a garden with orange and lemon trees, like an oasis in an ugly city. The host is very (sometimes too much) friendly but the rooms are small and basic. The... More

This B& B is very good value for money. What you get is to stay in one of the most beautiful buildings in the centre of Agrigento ( to be honest, there are not many, the modern Agrigento is more like "Uglygento" ) surrounded by a lush garden full of fruit trees and flowers. It's a little oasis. Our room... More

Very rarely will one be able to stay in a villa at such reasonable rates but the reasons for our staying here exceeded any matter of finance. Firstly the villa, the oldest in Agrigento, was built by the architect Basile Ernesto who was also responsible for the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. It is as attractive as it looks in the... More

Fabulous old mansion with spacious and clean rooms, very centrally located and enough parking space nearby. The host was very friendly and gave us lots of nice tips like going to the Valle dei Templi at sunset. Amazing experience! Unfortunately the restaurant next door was closed and we had to go to a cafe or icecream shop for breakfast. The... More

Michelle, the host, is very friendly and helpful. The B&b is situated in a very beautiful villa with a nice garden. Adding to this, there's a slow food restaurant is located in the garden which is very good! It is a very nice place to stay!

The location is excellent: just a block from the train station and great restaurants, and in a palatial old home amidst beautiful gardens. It was hard to believe this place existed in the middle of town. The host, Michelle, could not be more friendly or helpful. His knowledge of the area and attractions really helped optimize our stay, and his... More

My friends and I missed the train from Agrigento to Palermo one night but fortunately we met a very warm-hearted local family who led us to this B&B! Our stay here was great! The house is clean and delicately beautiful with a small nice garden around. We stored our luggage here the next day and had very flexible time to... More
