Not being able to speak the language was not a problem because there was alway someone to help. Not all hotels are "air conditioned" in Italy but Minerva Hotel was working in fine fashion during some of the hotest days on record. The Minerva is essentially a businessman's hotel -- very modern, with a large parking lot. For the leisure traveler, it is only a one-kilometer walk to the historic center of town.
