Stayed here to ride the Stelvio, Gavia,and Mortirolo. Very helpful and friendly staff, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great support for cyclists. Why stay anywhere else?

My 2nd stay in this familiy hotel, again an excellent choice. Smaller hotel with very servant+ helpful people, situated a little bit outside of Bormio directly opposite the central cable car for Bormio 2000, the main ski area. We have just stayed here for the second time. This is a very well run comfortable hotel with excellent meals. The management and staff treat guests like family - there is an atmosphere of friendliness and helpfulness. We have stayed here as a base for cycling, it has excellent facilities and good access to great climbs..

Highly recommend. Stayed on a cycling trip with friends. Wonderful hotel staff, great meals, terrific cycling in bormio, great little town for shopping.

We stayed at the Hotel Alu with a large group of friends and were overwhelmed with the wonderful hospitality shown to us. Rooms were clean and airy, staff were extremely helpful and hospitable, and the food was fantastic. Being just a short walk to the town, and opposite the ski tow, this hotel is perfect for skiing, cycling and sightseeing.

The services is fantastic, the staff are friendly and will happily go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible.
