We stayed at Casa Pistini on 5th April 2012. We booked a room with an outside bathroom and were not sure what to expect. We need not have worried. On arrival the lady of the house came out to meet us with an umbrella as it was raining. Once inside we were introduced to a very helpful young man who... More

We stayed 5 nights in Casa Pistani last summer (july 2010). The Bed and Breakfast is located in the countryside near Ferrara, so you will definitely need a car. But the town itself is not far away and you can reach it quite easily...The same applies also for the beaches, some 50 kilometres away..and the Parco Delta del Po, Padova... More

Only a few miles outside the beautiful city of Ferrara, although we also visited the Po Delta, Bologna, San Marino, Ravenna and Modena on day trips via the excellent motorway links. Modernised farmhouse but retaining many period features and set on the edge of open fields. Our room was spacious and clean, and although simply furnished, was very comfortable. The... More

Lovely Italian bed and breakfast. Very large rooms nicely furnished. Clean, large private bathrooms. The home is an immaculate, rustic country farm house and well situated. We used it for a base to visit Venice, Verona and Ferrara. All can be easily done in a day. The breakfast was traditional and adequate. There are restaurants and little stores nearby in... More

We have just returned from a weekend away in the Ferrara area. Despite the not so great weather - very unlike Italy!, we had no complaints whatsoever about our choice of accommodation. This is a rural country house, with extremely good value rooms - even better value if you can stay a minimum of 3 nights. The landlady cannot do... More
