Super apt, super place, nice view - pat is stuck on a rock above the lake, interesting architecture. Apt si well furnished. To the city center only a few minutes walk. Kindly staff. I highly recommended. More

“Stunning views...unique apartment”

We spent a week at the Residence Vechhio Porto. Our apartment was really unusual, it is carved out of the mountain. Although some of the apartment was a bit dusty, it was generally clean and the linen and towels etc were spotless. The terrace had a gas bbq so we only really used the inside of the apartment to sleep... More

I just returned from 4 days at the Excelsior. It was wonderful. The suite we had was perfect for our family. It was very clean and the view was amazing. We spent 2 weeks at the Residence Vecchio Porto Excelsior and realy had a wonderful time. The view from the hotel is just brethtaking. You are right on the lake, and in the back of you have the montain ( some of the roms even have walls carved into the montains... not yours since we were in Suite 45 that... More

Very nice view, but I definetly cannot recommend this appartment to anybody. During the season the appartment ist very expensive and has severe shortcomings: the furniture is old, the appartment is not clean and it smells badly. At the ceiling there was fungi.The full price has to be paid in advance (the renter knows why). More

There are few reviews of this residential hotel - and those I could find were not so positive. Our experience was terrific. The people who run the hotel were extremely helpful and responsive to the few things that I wanted but did not initially find in the apartment. Couldn't find any reviews on this place on the net but decided to take a chance. We stayed in a 'mini' appartment that had a double bed, toilet/shower and a kitchen, outside table and chairs. The appt was a little dated and a bit scruffy in places. The kitchen consisted of a fridge, micro, 2-hob and kettle. Plenty of room... More
