Friendly hotel and clean inside.Nice breakfast very comfortable . rooms are large. good views of san remo from the room. We arrived in the evening as we needed to stay stop for the night on the way to nice airport, after been stranded in Italy due to Union strikes. This hotel was just far enough away from the centre , it... 5 days in Sep 2011. Our room [# 30] was spacious and clean with large shaded balcony. Nets needed at the window. Bathroom could do with an update. Everything worked but the decor was a throwback to the 70s. Fridge, A/C, TV and safe provided. Meals with waitered service. More

stayed here for just one night the other day, and were perfectly happy with the service, the price, the room, the breakfast, and the general warmth of the welcome. It is a hotel without pretension, with nice views across the bay, a good-sized pool, a large, airy dining room, and some really nice, relatively cheap beaches close by. Most of... More

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and we found the hotel was clean and the restaurant very good. There was a very good buffet for breakfast. We had the most wonderful view from our room which had a balcony. The pool was spotless as the guy who was cleaning it appeared to spend all day doing it! There was... More

The hotel is very clean, we got superior room by mistake and it was excellent!!! We saw our friends room (standard) and it was ok, except that you are entering through terrace. Rooms are renovated. Light sleepers: DO NOT GO TO ROOMS TURNED TO THE POOL ON BAD WEATHER. The pool is full of FROGS. Lol. The room itself was... More

Contrary to some reports we did not find the hotel's location a problem. There is a supermarket immediately next door. Its the white building to the left on google. There is a pub at the other side but drink prices, I was informed by fellow travellers, were dearer than the hotel. There is a frequent bus service to San Remo... More

We stayed here with our two young children in the summer of 2007. The hotel looked run down and worn out, with fraying carpets, sagging mattresses, and exhausted thin towels. Service was nonchalant at best. The location is way out of town. You need a car to get. Time it wrong, and you are stuck in a one hour traffic... More

We stayed in the Ariston hotel for 2 nights during our roadtrip in the Italian and French Riviera. The hotel is located outside San Remo so a car is a must. Since we had a car in the first place it was nice that the hotel had its own parking area which was free. Hotel room was more 2 star... More
