people ı met there were wonderful. the service was great. they run the hotel as a family business. and their approach to the visitors are not like tourists. They did their outmost to serve us. at the end we were close friends to each others. they serve delicious foods also. overall it is fun to stay and eat.

My wife and I stayed last Saturday night in lovely Sulmona at the hotel, Albergo Stella. The sort of loud weekend street revelry was made up for by the friendly staff, good breakfast and the crispest, best sheets in Italy.

We recently stayed in this Albergo for one night. We had lunch there, which was good and breakfast, which was fine as well. The room was simply furnished but very clean and had a lovely view over a very old church. I would recommend this 'Albergo' if you're looking for something simple, clean and homely.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly at Albergo Stella Ristorante. Very helpful staff, clean and tidy room and bathroom, right in the center of the old city, very strong wifi in our room. Definitely a good choice for us!

Loved the hotel, the location was great and the staff were fantastic. The rooms were fairly basic but clean and tidy. As stated by someone else the hotel is far above its one-star rating. Only slight downside was breakfast, rather basic but enough to get going with and the coffee was really good... Overl, highly recommended....
