We are finishing up 4 days in Sulmona and are so glad we chose Hotel Stella. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and spacious for a mid-range hotel. Spent several nights here on holiday. Comfortable and clean (the towels are a bit worn and could do with being replaced but clean so not a problem). Albergo Stella is definitely a great solution for short break in Sulmona, as the location is excellent, the rooms are clean and equipped with A/C , lcd screen, minibar and hairdryer. Comparing price/value is definitely a place that I would suggest. Thanks to the owners, always helpful and polite! More

Just had a very nice stay here with a colleague and his wife. They stayed in the main hotel while Roberto had me in a very nice flat just down the street. Given the one-way system in Sulmona and various road closures in the town due to summer festivities, finding this small friendly hotel (NOTE that this is no longer a restaurant) only can be a bit of a challenge. Centrally located, small family run hotel. Small but modern room and bathroom, very clean with good bed. Somewhat noisy due to central location, but also between rooms. Basic breakfast included.
