We had to go to Zapala for a “trámite” and decided to stay the night rather than drive in very early. The hotel is a bit expensive, but so is everything in Zapala. The hotel is not fancy but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is very service-oriented, the restaurant serves up great/superb food and the waiters are all very nice. When travelling to Patagonia, look for hotels which are comfortable and clean. There´s so much to explore that you wont spend much time stuck in a hotel room. It is located on a busy avenue so street side rooms are noisy, there are also smoking rooms so stench remains in the halls. Room was clean and breakfast was satisfactory, good for a one night stay.
