we stayed for 1 night in La Hoirie and arrived late, 9pm, because we had a breakdown along the way. The restaurant-staff waited for us, so we could still have dinner that evening... and the food was excellent ! Lovely rooms, lovely location. Certainly would like to re-visit this hotel.....

We stayed here for 2 nights, but we could easily have stayed for longer, as the hotel is just outside Sarlat in peaceful hills with lovely views. Lovely, quiet location a mile or so outside Sarlat. Beautifully converted hunting lodge in own, attractive gardens. Stayed here for 3 nights whilst cycling around the Dordogne. Very near to Sarlat and close to all the major attractions. Hotel room was large but basic. Nice pool area. Dinner was exceptional and would highly recommend eating here. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The Hotel La Hoirie, just outside of Sarlat was absolutely delightful; it was definitely the hightlight of our 3 week trip in France.
