While the room, service, staff are all excellent, the highlight is the great balcony....perfect for watching village fete....lots of street level fireworks, dancing and parades. Ideal overview of the weekly market and town. Lovely streetside cafe.

First of all, Ceret is one most charming small towns in all of the Catalan section of southern France. It is a vital artistic center with just enough going on to fill your time, especially with its very own Museum of Modern Art with an impressive permanent collection.
Hotel des Arcade was an amazing value overlooking the square. It was...

If you're passing through Ceret I would definitely recommend a stay at the Hotel des Arcades. Ok, it's not exactly up to date, and it doesn't have all the modern amenities, but hey, this is France! What you will get (if you have a room at the front, which we were given without asking) is a long balcony with a...

Hotel was centrally located in the town square and very convenient. Clean and very nicely decorated hotel and room. My room had a wonderful balcony overlooking the town square. Staff was very nice. All in all I would highly recommend and would definitely go back.
We stayed two nights while travelling this part of the region. The hotel is very well located and Ceret itself is really charming and well worth a visit. The best part of the hotel was the sidewalk cafe with its bright umbrellas and good lunch fare which we enjoyed on arrival. Our room had long windows that opened to the...

We stayed here one night while on a trek through the Pyrenees. The room we received, opening onto an inner courtyard, was clean but rather tired out (linens and furnishings). Breakfast was rather minimal. Good location and Ceret is worth visiting.
We stayed here for two nights in a lovely (seventies decor) room on the top of the building.
Clean, good beds and a great view onto the Arcades opposite the hotel. This hotel has private parking and below is a big terrace where locals have drinks all through the day. Right in the middle of the town and just a...

Avoid this hotel at All costs. The lady at the reception is probably the rudest person I have meet in 2 months of traveling, and did her best to not offer us any help at all about various questions that was asked about ceret. Another point is the fact the the hotel entrance is looked 24/7 and you have to...

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and found all the staff to be very helpful and efficient. The room was pleasant, good value at the price. I would definitely visit this hotel again. It is in a wonderful location in the heart of Ceret. Since the room was not air conditioned I would have liked a fan.
We spent one night here on our way back to Barcelona (last week in August 2011). We hadn’t booked and drove into Ceret simply because it didn’t look too big a town on the map. Turned out to be a delightful short stay. We had a triple room – S8 - which opened up to a lovely view of the...
