This beautiful Chateau was gorgeous to saty at. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. This is a lovely place if you would like to get away from the hustle and bustle. It was quite difficult to get to but lucky for our trusty GPS system!! We will definitely return one day.
thought we would be bored to death. Wasn't Place was lovely, staff very nice. Lovely hikes along the river and up onto the hills surrounding. Was very pleased. Seems long to get there but would actually love to go back.
A fairytale chateau set against a superb backdrop of steep cliffs, wooded gorges unusual rock formations and a fast flowing river. This hotel is charming, a lot of it appears to be original yet it is all in very good order. We had a lovely bathroom in a turret and a superb balcony with views over the river. The food in...

This is now my favorite hotel in Europe - I can't imagine a more delightful stay anywhere. Photos of the castle (including ours) don't begin to do it justice; the building, grounds and riverside setting (with cliffs rising on all sides) are absolutely gorgeous. Our room wasn't huge but it was certainly spacious enough, warm and cozy, and beautifully furnished...

If you go here and you are white knuckle about drives that plunge into gorges, then take the road from la Canourge via Malene, not via St Enimie, it is far less terrifying, especially in a right hand drive car.

Stunning location next to a river and set in the gorge - this Chateau was wonderful. Although we stayed in one of the suite rooms located in the annexe (rather than a Chateau room) this was a better choice for us. Our large suite had a wonderful terrace overlooking the gorge and gardens - just perfect.
We ate in the...

We have now had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Chateau on four occasions over the last three years, as a couple, with friends and with family which includes young grandchildren. We have always been welcomed very warmly and indeed after our first visit greeted by Sandrine like an old friend. On two of the visits we have organised...

We were really looking forward to staying here based on other reviews - it was to be the highlight of our holiday as it's not cheap and it sounded superb. There's no doubting that the location is fantastic and the chateau is stunning to look at too. The check-in was easy and welcoming although I did notice vases of dead...

What a disappointment! It really is a tragedy that this incredible chateau, that is situated in such a magical place, is so poorly managed. The drive to the hotel is breathtaking into the heart of the Gorges Du Tarn and about 10km from the lovely village of St Enimie. The view overlooking the Tarn river and facing the sensational gorge...
