We have stayed here a few times having followed Jocelyn and Michel from their previous hotel where we also stayed several times. The food is a huge draw - it is high quality and reasonably priced if you go for half-board. The ambience is relaxed and friendly with some lovely outside spaces. The rooms are simply but stylish decorated and... More

La Poulciere was everything we could have wished for in terms of accommodation Michelle and Jocelyne are friendly and helpful hosts. The auberge is tastefully furnished, warm and welcoming. We booked in for bed, breakfast and evening dinner. [ Be aware there are no other restauarants nearby so to eat out somewhere else in the evening will involve you in... More

Calm setting, warm, friendly welcome, large rooms, quiet, good food. The bed was a little hard. Host couple are great! A real find in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed at the auberge for two nights in December 2010. Charming hotel with lovely owners (English speaking couple). Due to heavy snowfall, which we were not prepared for, we arrived 6 hours later than planned in the middle of the night. The owners were amazingly friendly and helpful, going out of their way for us. Our room was spacious... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a motorcycle tour of the Alps. We were made extremely welcome, the food was excellent (one of our all time top 10 steaks) and the room was top quality. All our requests were catered for – including a bucket and hose pipe to wash the bike!! The location is quiet with a 45... More
