Nice hotel, with recent interior renovation, colourfull decoration. Very confortable, clean, spacy. I stayed on the top floor and it was very quiet, with great view of the city and surrounding mountains. At the reception, very impersonal treatment, standard breakfast.

I stayed there for a ski weekend. It was perfect. The hotel is well situated in Luchon, in a quiet area and looks like a nice old palace. But it has been fully refurbished. We had a fantastic stay: large room, high ceilings, very comfortable bed, palatial bathroom with jacuzzi, courteous staff, incredible breakfast - certainly much better than the average 3-star. We found it fantastic value, but then we went there at the end of summer, after most tourists had gone.

We used this hotel as our "base camp" for three nights on a motorcycle touring holiday to the Pyrenees. It's a lovely old 18th (?) century building in a very picturesque location and has been recently renovated in a contemporary style, although this doesn't really suit the architecture.
