We booked this hotel as we were attending the Tour de France which was starting in the Vendee. There was some slight confusion over the booking as the hotel was practically taken over by Tour staff, but resolved quickly. The hotel was easy to find and parking in the street outside was available. We were greeted by a smiley staff member in reception (who I believe was the owner).
