rebooked this year after fantastic food and service last year.however totally disappointed-little bit like fawlty towers, breakfast waiter doubled as reception staff/kitchen staff and waiter.no choice oif menu for dinner unlike last year.sad to say crsytal ski were aware of these season long changes and pnly notified us one week prior to depature. The place is in need of substantial refurbishment. We had a family room for just the two of us, and it was still small, Chipped bath, wardrobe with chunks of veneer missing, heating consisted of two small electric radiators, bath tap cover fell off, no proper shower, sink drain plug broken. Booked directly with the hotel. Short stay, only 3 nights. Was a last minute decision. One of my better ones! Val Thorens is traffic free, dropped off bags and parked in P2 a short walk away.
