We have stayed here many times. It's my favourite place in this region. The Prüm Winery is amongst the best wine producers in Europe and worth a visit on it's own. This was a beautiful little guesthouse on the Mosel river. They have maybe 15 rooms, breakfast included, and we were able to get a guaranteed late arrival which is very rare for the private guesthouse in Germany! This is a very special place close to the Mosel river. It is peaceful, and yet not far from the tourist town of Bernkastel-Kues. We spent 4 nights in this lovely guesthouse and found it to be the perfect spot to day trip around the Mosel and even the Rhine. It is located right on the banks of the river on a quiet street. We had a car, so found it very quick to go visit the various towns and castles along the river.... More

This guesthouse has lovely large rooms looking either west on to the garden or east onto vineyards. You walk 50m down to the Mosel and the vineyards are laid out in front of you beyond the river.
