We lucked upon Hotel am Hafen and booked in for four nights. We had a "comfort room" which was actually two rooms; one with the king size bed and bath, and another with a couch. Too Bad - Hotel is in a great location overlooking the Mosel. Staff person (proprietress?) was so rude she had my adult daughter in tears. Best speak good German if you want to stay there. No elevators. Great restaurant, La Mancha, nearby. More

This hotel is nicely located and several rooms have nice balconies overlooking the Mosel and Cochem.
