The Hotel Allegra, in the lovely town of Pontresina, Switzerland, combines a great hotel design aesthetic with fantastic service and the home-spun feel of a B&B. Our stay at Allegra was 100% enjoyable. The hotel is located at the center of Pontresina, which is good in the evening, when it's time to find a restaurant for dinner (only breakfast is available in Allegra). Allegra was excellent. The breakfast had so many breads (whole wheat croissants, sunflower bread, etc), fruits, cereals, the best coffees. We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful, and the breakfast (included in the rate) was the best I've seen in a Swiss hotel (and that's saying a lot!). We used the washing machine and the free area transportation card. The room was a nice size, very modern and, of course, immaculate. More
