We stayed for 3 nights on a voucher offer which was very good value. The room we stayed in (no. 4 I think) was at the front of the hotel and although very smart, clean and tidy was a little on the small side as was the en-suite. The breakfast hampers were lovely and there was plenty for the two... More

We visited for a weekend in April. The room was lovely and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was superb and the pub has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast hampers were a lovely idea for a lazy weekend away. Would definitely recommend.

Having spent the weekend at The New Inn, we were very pleased with it. Although the rooms are somewhat compact and beju, they are extremely clean and very comfortable. We did find it quite noisy with with outside traffic, as the windows are not double glazed, but as the Inn is situated on the main road this is by no... More

i stayed for 2 nights with my 8yr old mid week in Easter. The room wasnt enormous - but it was beautiful. lcd tv on the wall with intermittent freeview - that i imagine is because it on an island. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The en suite was snug - but plenty big enough for us. However... More

As a very picky customer I was delighted with my stay, as was my partner. Lovely modern and thoughtfully decorated rooms. Comfortable bed in a compact room with everything one may need. Including a small but high end fittings in the bathroom and waterfall shower. My only quibble would be the need for larger towels. Wifi code was provided in... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in October. Room 3 is compact, with the en-suite being a particularly tight fit. However, the room was pleasant and did not lack any essentials. From the floor plan I would be concerned that one of the other rooms may be really pushing it for space. The 4 rooms are very... More

We stayed here for three nights after we got married for a little get away. Staff were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were modern, clean and well equipped. There is no designated carbparking but we managed to get a space along the rode each day. Located near to Portland bill, would definitely recommend the cream... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in early October and found the location of the B&B to be ideal for exploring the Jurassic coast. The place went through a refurbishment at the start of this year, just in time for the Olympic Sailing events. The rooms(4) have been tastefully decorated each with a colour theme, we stayed in... My wife and I stayed there on the 3 nights of the 1st-3rd October 2012 having booked via groupon for £139 for 3 nights.(Groupon value -£300!). Stacey Cullum was very friendly and efficient and I guess she prepared the cooked breakfasts as we could see no one else - it was very good and she could give lessons to many... More

such a lovely place on such a miserable sad island. we will never forget as the pub had wonderful food and the best staff! The evenings in the garden with a paper and a drink were so nice. The room was claustrophobic and made my hubbie freak out but it was clean. It was overlooking the street (oposite another pub)... More
