We stayed here this weekend as a group of 6. This was the only accomodation we could find 10 weeks ago when we booked. The welcome was warm and felt instantly at home. All the staff were friendly and treated us as old friends. Although the bedroom was basic it was clean and comfortable with a good view. Food was... More

We stayed in a cottage in Grinton for one week and liked The Bridge Inn so well that we ate there three times. The food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is everything one could want in a British pub - warm, inviting, can't cozy with a friendly bartender. Dogs and muddy boots welcome! More

We came here as a last minute thing and they managed to fit in a table of 11 very quickly. The food was fantastic and they were able to deal with a dairy allergy very easily. The atmosphere was great, traditional English pub and the staff were great!! Would defiantly visit again if I was in the area!! More

Just returned from our first (but I'm sure not the last) visit to the Bridge Inn. This was an impromptu trip booked just the day before and we got the last available room. On arrival we were greeted to a warm welcome and personally shown to our room, which while small and perhaps a little tired was immaculately clean. Food... More

We planned a circular walk to Reeth, across the footbridge and back down the river, taking about 2 hours with stops. The Bridge Inn kindly allowed us to leave our car in their car park and we went back for Smday lunch, which was excellent and filling, although I managed to squeeze in a delicious ginger pudding. The pub is... More

A good inn should provide good ales ,brilliant food prepared with local sourced ingredients served by yorkshire friendly staff. I am pleased to say the Bridge Inn delivered on all counts. The EPA was exceptional, the steak & ale pie was to die for. The other members of our party were were also impressed. The rooms are about the size... More

The food was good, we could take the dog, who was welcome in the Bar and in the bedroom, we were not allowed to take him in the Restaurant, but that was fair enough. The food is the same in both Restaurant and Bar, and was extremely good. The staff are very friendly and we felt immediately at home. Breakfast... More

We visited The Bridge Inn while we were staying in Grinton for a week. Although we didnt have anything to eat in the pub the food looked very nice and looking at the menu it all sounded delicious with a few game dishes on there. We found the pub very friendly. Friendly staff and friendly locals. Good selection of real... More

First the positives:- the location is fantastic for walking, mountain biking and visiting the Dales. The food was very good, restaurant quality traditional foods. The beer was very good, a good mix of well kept real ales and Peroni lager. The negatives: The room was very 1980's in décor with varnished pine 3x2s and framing screwed to the ceiling to... More
