What a lovely park, great river walks, lovely cabin and service with a smile. We travelled to Melbourne from Perth and wanted to be close to Eltham for a family party. It was a perfect location, an easy drive to Eltham, about 30 minutes from the MCG for the football, not far from shopping in Doncaster, yet tucked away from... More

We stayed in this park for 3 weeks in total. Booked via internet a couple of months in advance as we were staying over Easter and Heather was very helpful in answering my questions. All in all I agree with all the positive comments. As per Janet D D's review, the only negative for us was that we were also... More

We stayed here for 7 nights recently, the first 3 nights were spent in a cabin which was dog friendly and our little dog was very appreciative of being allowed to stay inside with us. Well appointed cabin, only gripe was that there wasn't a privacy lock on the toilet/bathroom door. The park itself is in a fantastic spot with... More

We stayed in one of the static villas at the end of March 2013 for 5 nights. We were a party of 3 adults (2 parents, 1 grandparent) and 2 children aged 10 and 8. The villa we had was at the front of the park and overlooked the pool which was very handy when the children wanted to go... More

Our recent caravan stay with friends was overshadowed by a fairly constant sewer smell. We were situated in front of the sewer / dumping station and sites 36 & 36A should not be utilised until the sewer system is fixed. The smell was nauseating and extremely strong!!! Also a serious health concern with young children exploring the surrounds of our... More

We found the park excellent, with plenty to do and great proximity to shopping (Westfield Donaster only 5 mins away). Our daughter loved the pillow trampoline and the camp kitchen and BBQ's were great. Surprisingly we had a very quiet, peaceful sleep on a Saturday night (no noise!) and really enjoyed our stay.

I can endorse the the favourable reports given to this establishment. However, the camping area seems to be an afterthought, being in a small grassed area behind some cabins. It can get quite crowded if all the spots are taken. The undercover area outside the kitchen and the pool are a godsend on hot days. It is also handy that... More

Our first camping overseas, and this site was a gem. Heather was so helpful and friendly. The amenities block were first class. The kitchen was very clean and fully equipped, nice extra was the TV and there were ample laundry facilities. Family friendly campsite, quiet and friendly with pool, games room and jumping cushion. Bus stop into Melbourne just around... More

My partner and I camped at this tourist park for four nights. The groundskeeper (who lives on the property) offered me an extension cable when i said ours had broken at a previous site. He then also offered us the use of his fan, as the days we stayed were during the early 2013 heatwave. The amenities were exceptional -... More

We've stayed in many caravan parks from SA to NSW and this is our favourite. Although there are parks closer to the CBD of Melbourne, Crystal Brook is like home away from home. There is bus transport nearby or we drive to a train station in zone 1 and use public transport from there. There are lots of gum trees,... More
