The perfect setting and excellent accommodation. Four of us stayed here for one night and loved the warm greeting and tasty breakfast. The rooms were tastefully decorated and both were very different. Highly recommended.

Although raining we were warmly greeted by hens, cats & host alike! (Still beautiful whatever the weather!) Welcomed in with a happy birthday (made me feel special to be remembered) into a cozy room with homemade flapjacks & welsh cakes (scrumptious!) with a choice of fresh coffee or tea etc...Time to relax in comfy sofas, before being shown to our... On arrival at the farmhouse (freezing cold snowy day in March!) and having received a warm welcome, were shown to the 'Twin Room'. Later that evening after a rather busy day we returned to Llansabbath House to relax. Unexpectedly at 9.30pm a loud hoover noise was heard directly in the room above! Rather too late to be using a vacuum!!... More

Beautifully decorated, the owners were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Topsy Turvey room was great - books and cd's are a nice touch! Loved the little jars of sweets!

I've stayed at many a guest house, hotel and B&B over the years but this one is by far one of the best. Beautiful, old restored farmhouse in a gorgeous rural setting just outside Abergavenny, such warm welcoming hosts, little thoughtful extra's in the room and at breakfast, absolutely lovely! Stayed in the 'Willow' room which was spacious and really... More

Fabulous 2 night stay whilst exhibiting at the Abergavenny Food Festival. Pot of real coffee on arrival (and real coffee in the bedrooms too!). Best free range eggs ever for breakfast, beautifully cooked. Laid back, friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a night here in August 2012 and it was lovely. We had the room at the top of the building which was actually 2 rooms - the bedroom and bathroom and a separate sitting room. The location is a 5 minute drive out of Abergavenny right down a country lane, so you need a car. It is surrounded... More

We stayed here for the bank holiday weekend as we were due in Cardiff on the Saturday and took the opportunity to do some walking in the local area. Our hosts Chris and Lillian were really welcoming and friendly. We were greated with the offer of tea ( and cake) which was marvellous after a long drive. The room was... More

My boyfriend and i stayed here for one night in May, the owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We stayed in the Topsy Turvey Suite, which was stunning, lovely views, very comfy bed and a lovely big shower room. Also came with a private lounge room with TV DVD etc, and a few guitars! Breakfast was... More

Stayed here over the long bank holiday and had such a fantastic time! The house itself is set on a quaint country lane and you even have to open a gate to get through. We were greeted by Chris who brought us tea and lovely cakes which helped us relax after a long motorway journey. We had the very top... More
